On June 24, 2013, the prosecution in the George Zimmerman trial called their third witness to the stand. Sean Noffke was the 911 dispatcher who answered George Zimmerman's call the night he fatally shot unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Noffke testified regarding the procedures and
Noffke told the jury that while he was speaking to Zimmerman he sensed he was following Martin. He asked if he were chasing Martin and Zimmerman admitted that he was and Noffke advised him to stop by saying, "We don't need you to do that sir." Dispatchers are not allowed to issue direct orders as they could be held responsible for anything that transpires.
