Creepy Factoid: Casey Anthony and Jodi Arias busted on same day (videos)

Okay, so this article is a little bit off topic as though it is steeped in fact, it really doesn't have any weight or bearing on either case. Here it is, today's creepy factoid: Jodi Arias and Casey Anthony were both busted on the same day!

I'm the Casey Anthony Examiner for and followed her trial through my Tampa Crime column and a Facebook group: Casey Anthony Latest News. Let's just say I'm well familiar with the case. So, anyway, back to the point.

Caylee Anthony was last seen alive on June 16, 2008. Jodi Arias murdered Travis Alexander on June 4, 2008. Both cases involved gas cans and both women were noted for many similarities, including their propensities for lying.

On July 15, 2008, Jodi Arias was arrested at her grandparents' home and interrogated for hours. In fact, the interrogation really lasted from July 15, 2008 to July 16, 2008. Though Arias committed the murder in Mesa, Arizona, she was arrested in California.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the continental U.S., Casey Anthony spent July 15, 2008, lying to her mother who had just found her at her boyfriend Anthony Lazzaro's Orlando, Florida apartment. After hours denying knowing her daughter Caylee's whereabouts, she finally stated, "The nanny took her." On July 15, 2008, Cindy Anthony called 911 and reported her granddaughter missing. She

also said the infamous words, "Something's wrong. I found my daughter's car today and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car."

Casey Anthony's interrogation began during the late night hours of July 15, 2008, with police arriving on scene to take her statement and resulted in her early morning arrest on July 16, 2008. Throughout the weeks that would follow, both Casey Anthony and Jodi Arias would continue to lead authorities on wild goose chases rife with lies that were utterly ridiculous and incomprehensible to the understanding.

Casey Anthony boldly led police officers to Universal Studios where she said she worked and held an office, even walking through hallways before finally having to admit the truth that she had no job there.

Jodi Arias denied being in Mesa, Arizona, denied killing Travis Alexander, and when authorities told her they had photo evidence of her being there, she asked to see the photos.

To this day, neither Jodi Arias or Casey Anthony have made a full confession or publicly admitted the truth of the events that transpired in June 2008 that led to the deaths of Caylee Marie Anthony and Travis Victor Alexander.

Both women spent the month of June 2008 lying and covering up their crimes.

So, there you have it.

Your totally useless, creepy factoid that shows the mysterious connections weaving through life that seemingly mean nothing but make you stop and just say, "Wow."
