Watch Jodi Arias trial Feb. 27, 2013, day 24: Jodi Arias smirks and smiles during testimony (videos)

On Feb. 27, 2013, Jodi Arias returned to the stand for her fourth day under cross-examination. Jodi Arias has been charged with first-degree murder for the  brutal June 4, 2008, slaying of her lover Travis Alexander. If convicted, Arias faces the death penalty.

There was a noticeable change in Arias' demeanor as she no longer seemed timid when it came to the risque and explicit nature of phone sex and sexting messages with Travis Alexander. Instead, Arias admitted to initiating contact, stated that many of their sexual fantasies were mutual, and seemed to smile, smirk and even appeared to have a difficult time controlling laughter during the testimony.

Prosecutor Juan Martinez used Jodi Arias' own words from her 48 Hours interview to show that she felt Travis Alexander was a generous person with a beautiful soul, and that a trip she took with Alexander was not a time of "sexual torment" per say, but rather a romantic getaway.

One of the strong points that Juan Martinez continues to drive home is that Jodi Arias was the sexual aggressor in the relationship. Travis Alexander said he never masturbated before meeting Arias and it was Arias who introduced Alexander to KY Jelly. It appears that Travis Alexander was relatively sexually inexperienced and focused more on his Mormon faith before his introduction to Jodi Arias.

While Arias claims that Travis Alexander was a sex-crazed, abusive maniac, the evidence points to Jodi Arias as being the sex-crazed, seductress who became furious that Alexander planned a vacation to Cancun with another woman.
