It's Feb. 21, 2013, and court is back in session. After eight full days of direct examination, it is now the prosecutor's turn to cross examine Jodi Arias. The trial began on Jan. 2, 2013, and is underway at the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. Arias has admitted to murdering her on-again-off-again boyfriend Travis Alexander on June 4, 2008 in Mesa, Arizona. There is no question that Arias shot Alexander, stabbed him 29 times, and nearly beheaded him by slicing his throat. At issue is whether Arais premeditated the act or if she acted in self-defense.

Over the past several weeks, Arias has answered questions regarding lurid, phone-sex conversations with Alexander, their sexual exploits, and the impact his Mormon faith had over their relationship. While Arias referred to Alexander as a closeted pedophile who wanted her to wear young boys, Spiderman underwear, the prosecution aims to show that Arias is a spiteful, evil and jealous woman who was obsessed with Alexander to the point of murder.
